REGISTRATION FORM
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE
There is a $50 annual membership fee for each year your child is enrolled at HITS. We offer a family rate of $100 per year for our recreational students. Billing statements for Membership renewals will be mailed in the month prior to the anniversary date.
TUITION
Tuition is based on a four-week period and is due between the 1st and 7th of each month. After the 7th of the month, a $10.00 late fee will be assessed to outstanding monthly tuition.
Tuition may be paid by cash, check, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Credit cards may be charged over the phone, 808-839-4494. Payment may also be mailed to HITS at: 1151 Mapunapuna Street. D3, Honolulu, HI 96819. Mailed checks must be postmarked on or before the 7th of the month.
Please keep in mind, failure to pay tuition or fees may result in the student's removal from classes.
SESSION BREAKS
Tuition is paid monthly, but make-ups run off three-month quarter sessions as identified on the yearly recreation class calendar. Additionally, every three months the gym will close for one week. This “Session Break” addresses the additional 4 weeks of a 52-week calendar year.
MAKE-UP POLICY
HITS offers 1 make-up per quarter session to be made up during the Session Break at times designated by student class/level. Students wishing to make-up must sign-up with the Front Desk prior to the end of the session in order to attend.
DROP POLICY
To ensure you are not charged tuition for the following month, you must provide written notice to discontinue a class, stop at the Front Desk, or call prior to the end of the last month of attendance. Phone calls after classes for the month have commenced or simply telling a coach of discontinuance is not sufficient notice. Notice provided after the start of the month will require a full month of paid tuition as a spot for the child is being held.
TRANSFER POLICY
Do you want to switch to another class time or day? Please check with the office to see if there is a comparable class that is open. Limited transfers are allowed during each quarter session.
PLEASE NOTE: Evaluation/testing is conducted for two weeks, three weeks prior to the end of each quarter session. Students will receive a progress report/certificate identifying promotion to the next level or continuation in the current level one week prior to the session break. Should your child be referred to a new level, please see the front desk for scheduling. If your child should remain in the same level, no changes need be made.
